The term "giclee print" (zhee-klay) connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
*Lightfastness ratings denote years before noticeable fading and/or changes in color balance; unframed prints, bare-bulb (no UV filter). Lightfastness only estimates the life of the ink, not the media. (http://www.wilhelm-research.com/epson/9600.html)
